My previous dentist strongly recommended I undergo an extensive cosmetic surgery that I did not desire to have done. Because of my condition, I researched the highest trained cosmetic dentist I could find. There were 3 in the state of Texas. One was Dr Shimizu, 1 hour away. I booked an appointment and saw him for a consultation. To start, his staff was very welcoming, respectful, and kind. He was very thorough with his examination of my teeth and asked plenty of relevant questions. He contacted another expert to help figure out best next steps. He came up with a very reasonable and safe treatment plan for me that took my wishes into consideration. He is very honest and I feel very comfortable in his care. I now go to his office for teeth cleanings and will have him done my cosmetic procedure when it's time. I would highly recommend him. If you are looking for a thorough, honest, kind, and extremely experienced dentist - he is your guy!

My mom’s experience that she wanted to share: Dr. Shimizu has been my dentist for many years. Today, I had four of my bottom crowns replaced and they turned out beautiful. He took his time to diagnose my teeth and put in extra care as well. He did not just work on the four crowns, but took his time to work on the others around them. Dr. Shimizu is very knowledgeable and his staff are always friendly and happy to help. I would highly recommend Dr. Shimizu to anyone!

Dr. Shimizu designed the veneers shape and size and choose a color that perfectly matched my teeth. His attention to detail and expertise have given me the smile I've been wanting for a long time. My experience with Dr. Shimizu was excellent. When one of my crowns cracked and partially broke off, I thought I’d have to travel out of the country to get it repaired. Fortunately, Dr. Shimizu was able to skillfully reattach the broken piece and securely cement the crown back in place—it looks brand new! I’m so happy I found him. He has an impeccable bedside manner, and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of quality dental care.
