Visited Dr Ned Shimizu as I wanted a second opinion on my supposed "7 cavitites". I was so pleasantly surprised to find out that unlike other dentists I had visited in the recent past Dr. Ned explained they were not caviities and all was well. He also checked out a previous crown and found it to be fine and not in need of a replacement unlike the feedback I had recieved from another local dentist. Glad to see Dr. Ned was interested in really serving my needs not just his own interest. Would highly recommend him for your dental needs.

Dr. Shimizu is the best! From the first time I went for my consultation I could see that he was the real deal! His attention to detail is what makes his jobs a true piece of art. Before I came to see him I used to have a hard time smiling for pictures, now I can't stop smiling! He created the perfect smile for me and I have regained my confidence. Not only is Dr. Shimizu the best at what he does, his staff is super friendly and they really make you feel at home! I highly recommend Dr. Shimizu to anyone who is in search of a beautiful new smile. 🙂

I posted the review below 3 or 4 years ago. Mr.Shimizu is still a great dentist.Please stop by his office. Dr.Shimizu is famous in Houston Japanese community.I had known him since 2008 or 2009.I was not his patient.Since I started using Facebook and posting a lot of pictures.I and my FB friends have been "deeply" concerned about my teeth.Yes, I know.Americans are addicted to beautiful teeth. I had to adjust American way of life.First of all, the staff are friendly. Vero-nica is nice. Vero(Bero) means Tongue in Japanese.I like her name. Regarding Mr.Shimizu sensei , his strong point is Japanese language skills.There are a lot of patients from Japan. However, he doesn't specialize in Japanese teeth.He and his assistants speak English.They can handle any teeth, Americans and others. He consulted me about dental insurance. That was so helpful.I got my new teeth, They are so popular my facebook page. I am getting new friends on my Facebook.LOL.Thank you Shimizu-Sensei and Verinica, Natalie.
